Timings and Entry Fee at Nehru Zoological Park

The opening timings of the Zoological Park are from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and remain the same from April to June. But from July to March, it changes to 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Remember, booking of tickets closes at 4:30 pm. The Zoological Park remains open on all the days except on Monday. You need to pay Rs.15 for the entry if you have any children below 12 years of age and Rs.30 is charged for the adults. You need to pay Rs.1500 if you want an entry for the trucks for shooting. Rs.20 is the amount you have to pay as a camera fee for still camera and Amateur video camera. While Rs.500 for professional still or video camera.

How to reach Nehru Zoological Park?

Well, reaching the park is not at all a difficult task as it is located on the Zoo main road and is very well known by the locals. So, just in case, if you’re not able to find the place, any local can help you out in reaching there. If you’re taking public transport, the best option is to take the city bus or MMTS. If the railway is the mode you have selected, take the train to your nearest MMTS station i.e. Nampally Railway Station, which is around 5.4 away from your destination.   • Opening time of the temple is 4:00 am in the morning and from 4:00 am to 4:30 am you can get involved in the temple pooja, issuance of Abhishekam tickets.

Basara Temple Aksharabhyasam Timings

Aksharabhyasam is performed regularly at the temple and you don’t have to make an advance booking for the same. After reaching there, one can purchase the ticket over the counter for the event of the same day. Aksharabhyasam is performed from 7:30 am to 12:30 in the morning and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the evening.

Normal charges are Rs.100 but you need to Rs.1000 for the special Akshara Sreekaram. The difference between both the charges is Rs.100 ticket Aksharabhyasam will be performed in the hall, whereas the 1000 one will be performed in front of Sri Gnana Saraswathi Ma. Make sure you carry 2 flowers garlands, 1 book, 1 pen, 4 slate, 2/3 slate pencil, 2 bowls rice, 1 coconut,  and 1 pack of pasupu and kumkuma each.

The museum remains open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on all day except Friday. Entry in the museum is done by buying a ticket, which is for Rs.20 for the general public and free for the students and children up to 18 years of age but you need to show the identity card. For foreigners, it is Rs.500. In fact, the museum keeps a Children’s week from 14th November to 20th November where students up to 18 years of age are allowed to come with their teachers for free. Also, there’s a Museum Week from 8th January to 14th January when the public is given concession on their entrance.

Sanghi Temple Timings – Telangana

First of all, there’s no entrance fee to visit the Sanghi Temple. The temple opens at 5 in the morning daily for the archanas to be offered to the Lord from 6:00 am to 8:00 am. Then, the devotees are allowed for general darshan from 8:30 am to 10:30 am in the morning and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the evening. From 12:00 am to 4:00 pm, the temple remains closed and then after 8:00 pm.

Temple Timings

  • Start your day with the peaceful suprabhatam that starts after the opening of the temple at 4:00 am in the morning and continues up to 4:30 am.
  • Then be a part of Binde Theertham that continues from 4:30 am to 5:00 am.
  • After that, from 5:00 am-5:30 am Bala Bogam is performed.
  • See the sacred Nijabishekam, which is done from 5:30 am to 6:30 am.
  • Nothing can be better than being a part of archanas offered between 6:30 am to 7:15 am.
  • After this, now the doors of temples are open for all devotes for the darshan till 11:30 am.
  • Then, PMMaharaja Bogamu is performed from 11:30 am to 12:30.
  • If in case, you missed the chance of darshan earlier, the gates are again opened for you from 12:30 to 3:00 pm.
  • The temple remains closed from 3- 4:00 pm.
  • Devotes can now go for the special darshan that begins from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
  • Again, darshan can be done by all devotes in between 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
  • Archanas are again performed from 7:30 pm till 8:15 pm.
  • After that, from 9:00pm the Maha nivedana get started and then sayanothasavam is performed at 9:30pm.
  • 9:45pm is the temple closing time.

All these timings are mentioned here for the convenience of the visitors so that they can plan accordingly. Ensure that you confirm the timings prior to visiting the temple because they can get changed by the authorities due to any holiday, festival day or any religious occasion.

  • The temple is 62km away from Hyderabad and bus services are pretty high from the city.

By Train:

  • Raigiri Railway Station is just 9km from the temple and services of private vehicles are quite frequent.
  • Secunderabad Railway Station is 62km from the temple.

So, I’ll be starting with the amazing Mulshi Dam over the Mula River that is all covered by dense greenery of the Sahayadri forests. Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary

Paying a visit to the Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary is yet another amazing option you can give chance to. The best part about visiting this beautiful place is that on one side there’s Shivsagar Lake and on the other hand, you have these fantastic Western Ghats. Basically, the wide range of flora and fauna here are categorized into 3 sections: Mahorkar, Indavali Met, and Vasota.
