So, I’ll be starting with the amazing Mulshi Dam over the Mula River that is all covered by dense greenery of the Sahayadri forests. If you’re looking for a peaceful place where you can just sit back and enjoy seeing scenic views then Mulshi Lake is the right choice for you. You can also try trekking in this area and its long paths will take you to the beautiful forts, Dhangad, and Koraigad. Also, boating is another option you can go for, for the entertainment purpose. Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary

Paying a visit to the Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary is yet another amazing option you can give chance to. The best part about visiting this beautiful place is that on one side there’s Shivsagar Lake and on the other hand, you have these fantastic Western Ghats. Basically, the wide range of flora and fauna here are categorized into 3 sections: Mahorkar, Indavali Met, and Vasota. The forest area is spread around 420 sq km and you’ll get a chance to see gaur, tigers, brown-capped woodpeckers, cobras, panthers, pythons, sloth bears etc. Try to plan a trip anywhere from October to April and stay for at least 2 days.

Diveagar

Diveagar is a village in the Raigad district and the place is known for its beautiful beaches and quaint waters. The specialty of the place is its fantastic 15km belt of white sand spread between Harihareshwar and Shrivardhan. Many of you might not know about the place because it has currently gained its popularity after the youngsters start visiting it often. When in Diveagar, you can indulge yourself in beach walks, surfing, and visiting temples.
