Skandagiri Subrahmanya Swamy Temple also, also known as Skandagiri Temple is situated at Padmarao Nagar is known for its rituals and peaceful spiritual environment. The temple is devoted to Lord Subramanya accompanied by Srivalli and Sridevasena. Hyderabad is famous for all their temples. Though the Skandagiri temple is known to follow Tamil Sampradaya in terms of rituals, however, the temple celebrates all the main festivals according to Tamil and Telugu calendars as well. Skandagiri Temple Timings

All the visitors, devotees, or anyone who has great adoration for his deity can seek blessings of their god at any time during the day. Just keep these timings in the mind before you visit the temple.

On Sundays and Fridays, the temple remains open from 6:00 am to 12:00 noon in the morning and from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm in the evening.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, you can visit the temple anytime from 6:00 am to 11:00 am in the morning and 4:40 pm to 9:00 pm in the evening.

Since people have a strong belief that one should definitely visit on Tuesdays, thus the timings differ from the rest of the days. The temple remains open from 6:00 am to 12:00 noon in the morning and from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the evening.

Remember that the timings of the temple get extended during all the festival days. At the time of Dhanur masam, you can enter the temple at 4:30 am. Also, the timings can differ and get change on the days of solar/lunar eclipses and even under some specific inescapable cases.

Arjitha Sevas performed at the temple

Arjitha Seva is basically the seva to the deity on payment of a fee as decided or fixed by the members of Temple Management. It is also performed at the temple and all the devotees who to perform the same are asked to make an advance booking at the Temple Front office counter only.   • Homam- 7:30 am in the morning
  • Homam on Sankatahara Chaturthi to Sri Sundara Vinayagar- 5:30 pm
  • Mahanyasam- 7:30 am
  • Abhishekam- 8:30 am in the morning and 5:30 pm in the evening
  • Abhishekam on Pradhosham to Sri Ekambareswarar- 4:30 pm
  • Kavadi/ Palkudam offerings on some selected festival days- 8:30 am
  • Chandi Homam- Parayanam on the previous day Homam- 8:30 am in the morning and 5:00 pm in the evening
  • Nakshatra Archana- 6:00 pm

How to Reach the Temple?

Reaching the temple is very accessible and it is well-connected by buses and if you’re coming by train, Secunderabad Railway Station is just 2km from the temple. You can hire a cab or auto to reach your destination.
